A grassroots, multi-genre festival in Rhayader, Mid-Wales, built by friends for discovering new sounds, making new connections and disappearing into a field for a weekend of music, art and mischief.

What we’re about
curiosity
Follow the sound you don’t recognise. Let the weekend lead you towards artists, people and ideas you might never have found otherwise. Leave with a new favourite and a soundtrack that takes you straight back to summer in the field.
contribution
For one weekend, we all share the same little patch of Mid-Wales. Look after it, look after each other and bring something of your own to the atmosphere. We build locally wherever we can too, working with the farm, nearby suppliers and local places to stay so the weekend gives something back to the place hosting us.

Wear the ridiculous outfit. Follow whatever looks fun. Give yourself permission to play again. Let Loose is a little pocket of mischief where you can dance in the sun, get blissfully carried away and make the kind of friendships you only seem to find after disappearing into a field for the weekend.

CAMPING
Let Loose is a camping festival, so come prepared for a weekend in a Welsh field. Bring suitable camping gear, warm layers and everything you need for changeable weather. There are also places to stay around Rhayader if camping isn’t your thing. We’ll share local options ahead of the festival.

COOKING & STOVES
Camping stoves are allowed, but never use them inside tents. Keep them on flat, clear ground away from tents and dry grass, and make sure they’re fully extinguished after use.
No open fires or BBQs.

PARKING
Parking is included with your ticket and is less than 50 metres from the festival entrance. Car sharing is encouraged where possible. If you plan to sleep in your car, van or campervan, you’ll need to book a campervan pass in advance when you get your ticket.

FOOD & DRINK
Food vendors, a bar and fresh drinking water will be available throughout the weekend. You can also bring a limited amount of your own alcohol onto site on first entry. Full allowances will be shared with ticket holders before the festival.
Allergen information will vary between vendors, so please tell the relevant food or drink vendor about any allergies or intolerances before ordering so they can advise you properly.

HEALTH & SAFETY
Look after yourself, your friends and the people around you. Stay hydrated, eat properly, take breaks when you need them and ask for help if something doesn’t feel right. Trained security and first aiders will be on site throughout the festival. Please bring any medication you need with you.
Respect the land, livestock, neighbours, crew and other attendees. Keep walkways and emergency access clear, and follow any instructions from festival staff.

Let Loose Festival takes place at Upper Bwlch Farm, Rhayader, Powys, LD6 5NT.

Tiny, and proudly so. Let Loose is an independent festival capped at under 500 people, keeping the weekend intimate, friendly and community-led.

Let Loose is strictly 18+. We operate a Challenge 25 policy, so please bring valid photo ID if you’re lucky enough to look under 25. You’ll need it at the bars too.

Yes. Each person can bring either:
12 cans of beer, lager, cider or pre-mixed drinks, or
one 3 litre box of wine
You can also bring a combination within that allowance, for example six cans and a bottle of wine.
No spirits or hard liquor are permitted.
Alcohol can only be brought onto site on your first entry. You cannot leave and return with more. Bag searches will take place on entry, and you may be searched again if you leave and re-enter the festival. Anything above the allowance will be confiscated.

Our food offering will vary between vendors, with menus shared closer to the festival.
If you have an allergy or intolerance, please speak directly to the relevant food or drink vendor before ordering so they can advise you based on their ingredients and preparation.

Illegal drugs are not permitted at Let Loose.
We operate a strict zero-tolerance policy towards the possession, use or supply of illegal substances. Searches will be in operation, and anyone found with illegal drugs may be refused entry or removed from the site and referred to the police.
